Lauren Faltz is a current Senior majoring in Psychology. Lauren completed a summer internship with Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., supported in-part by our center’s Phillips Family Internship Fund!
“I was able to form a relationship with my mentor and other staff in the school I am working at. My mentor has been my number one person to go to for anything regarding my career path. I also had the opportunity to learn and hear from the teachers and the mental health counselor at the school!
This was the first time I was able to shadow and assist a working professional in the counseling field. Although it was not my main goal to work with the mental health counselor at this specific position, I believe expanding my network at any chance I get will make a difference in the long run.”
