Activate Your Career Plan Series for International Students

Are you an international student looking to navigate the U.S. job market with confidence? Join the Center for Career Equity, Development and Success for our exclusive 6-week cohort program designed just for you.Activate Your Career Plan is built around a Career Strategy Thesis, a framework that helps international students think strategically about their future. Throughout the program, students develop and refine a strategy that guides career plans, application materials, and networking efforts. The program closes with one-on-one strategy sessions, giving every participant individual time to pressure-test and finalize their plan.Program Overview Over the course of 6 weeks (September–October), students accepted into Activate Your Career Plan will work closely with a program facilitator to:

Set Strategy: Define a clear career goal and design a roadmap to achieve it.

Build a Brand: Understand your personal brand tools and learn how to communicate your story effectively.

Refine Materials: Craft a resume and cover letter that positions you as a competitive candidate for U.S. employers.

Optimize Digital Presence: Develop a LinkedIn profile that showcases your unique background and attracts connections.

Network with Confidence: Prepare a professional bio, take a professional headshot, and learn how to build and leverage a network.

Know Your Value: Understand your distinct cultural value in a global marketplace.

Requirements: You must be available to attend sessions virtually.
DATES & TIMES:The virtual sessions will begin on Wednesday, September 16th and will end on Wednesday, October 21st:

Session 1: Wednesday, September 16th, 11am-12:15pm 

Session 2: Wednesday, September 23rd, 11am-12:15pm  

Session 3: Wednesday, September 30th, 11am-12:15pm   

Session 4: Wednesday, October 7th, 11am-12:15pm   

Session 5: Wednesday, October 14th, 11am-12:15pm

Session 6: Wednesday, October 21st, 11am-12:15pm
